  1. Thank you for choosing the Windows Slide Rule.

  3. To install the Windows Slide Rule on your system,
  4. simply run INSTALL.EXE, and answer the prompts
  5. as they are given.  Unless you specify otherwise,
  6. the program files will be installed in c:\sliderul,
  7. and the program icon will be placed in the Windows
  8. Accessories program manager group.
  9.  
  10. The slide rule included in this package is the model
  11. 640, which is optimized for 640x480 displays running 
  12. in either 16- or 256-color mode.
  13.  
  14. To learn about your slide rule and how to operate it,
  15. consult the program help file.

  17. This program is released as shareware, and use 
  18. beyond a reasonable evaluation period obligates you
  19. to register with the program author. The registration
  20. fee for this program is $5.00. Two more models optimized
  21. for higher resolution displays are available for an 
  22. additional $5.00.  See the program help file for details.
